Malaki Starks Is the H2H Reward

Competitive players have another target in the form of 87 OVR Malaki Starks at free safety for the Ravens. This card is tied to the Clock's Ticking H2H Event rather than the standard Hero and Champion sets.

Players can earn Starks by reaching Tier 4 in either version of the event. That creates a separate progression path for people who spend most of their time playing head-to-head games.

It also means the entire Part 2 release does not have to be approached through one system. Some players may prefer sets, while others can focus on Solo Challenges or H2H depending on how they normally play Ultimate Team.

Plan Season 2 Upgrade Tokens

Season 2 introduces a straightforward upgrade path through the Field Pass. As you level the Field Pass, you earn tickets that can be spent in the Season Ticket Store to purchase Upgrade Tokens.

One Upgrade Token converts into one Skill Point. An eligible Season 2 player needs five Skill Points to move from an 82 OVR base card to its 87 OVR maximum.

There is one important catch: once Skill Points are applied, they cannot be refunded or transferred. Because of that, I would choose the player first and spend the tokens afterward rather than upgrading cards simply because you have enough points available.

Be Careful With Chemistry Evolutions

Season 2 also includes 32-Team Chemistry Evolution Tokens for cards carrying the Season 2 logo. One token is available for free, while another can be purchased for 20,000 coins.

The system can be useful for theme-team players, but removing an applied evolution has consequences. The player drops back to the base overall, and the attributes gained through the evolution are lost.

That makes the decision more permanent than it might initially seem. If you know a player will remain in your lineup, using the token is easier to justify. If you expect to replace that card soon, waiting can make more sense.
